Rocky bahkan mengungkap sejumlah analisisnya terkait Jokowi.
Ia menilai kehadiran Abu Bakar Ba'asyir di Solo menjadi bentuk kecemasan Jokowi.
Rocky mengaitkan kunjungan isu sebagai upaya Jokowi seolah masih mendapatkan dukungan dari luar partai politik.
Adapun pernyataan ini disampaikannya di kanal Youtube Hendri Satrio, Kamis (2/10).
Disebut Rocky Gerung, Jokowi membutuhkan backup cultural atau dari tokoh masayarakat.
Sebab saat ini, kata Rocky, Jokowi sudah tidak lagi punya backup atau dukungan politik.
Backup biasanya dibutuhkan demi memperkuat posisi seseorang dalam menghadapi berbagai tekanan atau isu.
Menurut Rocky, Abu Bakar Ba'asyir bisa menjadi backup cultural bagi Jokowi lantaran ia merupakan salah satu tokoh besar umat Islam.
Kemudian, Rocky Gerung juga berseloroh bahwa Jokowi menerima kunjungan Abu Bakar Ba'asyir karena tak ada lagi tamu yang datang mengunjunginya.
Menurut akademisi kelahiran Manado, Sulawesi Utara 20 Januari 1959 itu, tidak ada skenario khusus di balik kunjungan Abu Bakar Ba'asyir ke kediaman Jokowi.
Diketahui, Rocky Gerung sendiri sudah beberapa kali vokal dalam melontarkan kritikan tajam terhadap Jokowi yang menurutnya haus kekuasaan.
Bahkan meski ayah Wakil Presiden RI Gibran Rakabuming Raka itu kini telah lengser dari kursi orang nomor satu di Indonesia.
