"Itu alasan yang mengada-ada, alasan yang dicari-cari terbawa angin. Harusnya angin bisa diantisipasi," kata Fickar dalam wawancara bersama Tribunnews pada Rabu (3/9/2025).
Ia menjelaskan bahwa tugas polisi ada tiga berdasarkan undang-undang yakni, menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban, penegak hukum, dan pelayan masyarakat.
Fickar menyebut, seharusnya polisi menghindar jika memang ada oknum di dekat kampus yang melempar bom molotov.
"Polisi jangan menempatkan diri sebagai anak kecil dia pengayom dan penegak hukum," imbuhnya.
Ia menambahkan, polisi juga berhak untuk memproses hukum pelaku pelemparan.
"Sekarang kan gampang di setiap jalan ada CCTV tinggal di lihat saja arahnya ke mana. Penembak itu arahnya ke mana. Kalau ke arah kampus jadi alasan terbawa angin tidak valid," sambungnya.
