Setelah tiga hari pencarian, satu korban tersebut akhirnya ditemukan namun dalam keadaan meninggal dunia.
Korban bernama Jaki (19), warga Kampung Citeko, Kecamatan Cisaruan, Kabupaten Bogor. Ia dilaporkan hilang pada Jumat (27/6/2025) setelah terseret arus bersama tiga anggota keluarganya saat bermain di tepi pantai.
Tenggelamnya korban bermula saat Jumat sore. Jaki bersama tiga orang keluarganya tiba di kawasan wisata Pantai Sunset, Desa Karangpapak, Kecamatan Cisolok, Kabupaten Sukabumi.
Saat itu ombak di lokasi diketahui cukup tinggi.
Sekira pukul 16.30 WIB, keempat wisatawan itu turun bermain di area bibir pantai.
Tiba-tiba ombak besar datang menghantam dan menyeret mereka ke arah laut.
Warga yang berada di sekitar lokasi segera melakukan pertolongan. Tiga korban berhasil diselamatkan namun satu korban lainnya yakni Jaki, tidak sempat tertolong dan hilang.
