La domenica di Pasqua cinque persone sono finite nelle acque del lago di Braies dopo il cedimento della superficie ghiacciata. Fortunatamente, quella che poteva essere una tragedia si è conclusa senza gravi conseguenze per nessuno dei coinvolti. Quanto accaduto ha però accesso un dibattito sui comportamenti corretti da tenere in montagne, e molti hanno criticato la pericolosità di camminare su un lago ghiacciato con temperature primaverili. «Quando siamo arrivati sul posto c’erano ancora cento persone sulla superficie del lago mentre il ghiaccio si scioglieva: il rischio era altissimo», ha raccontato Simon Feichter, veterano del Soccorso Alpino dell’Alta Pusteria intervenuto insieme ai colleghi per soccorrere le persone finite nell’acqua gelida.
