En el 27 a.C. escenifica que “se va”, el Senado le ruega quedarse y nace el título de Augusto: arranca el Principado —una “República” de fachada con cargos a dedo y paz interior. Repasamos el papel de Agripa, el “Roma Great Again” de Augusto, la transición con Tiberio (retiro en Capri y el poder del prefecto Sejano) y la llegada de Calígula, primer intento de gobernar a espaldas del Senado. Además, aclaramos qué significaba imperator (general victorioso) y cómo con Vespasiano se fija el modelo Imperator Caesar Augustus. Contexto esencial para entender cómo Roma pasó de república convulsa a imperio estable.
