Mit Anrufen unter falscher Identität soll eine Bande von Betrügern rund 700.000 Euro erbeutet haben. In Wiesbaden ist nun ein mutmaßlicher Organisator einer Betrüger-Bande zu fast zehn Jahren Haft verurteilt worden.

Im brandenburgischen Luckenwalde hat das Deutsche Rote Kreuz sein bislang größtes Bevölkerungsschutzzentrum eröffnet. Dort lagern Hilfsgüter, Fahrzeuge und mobile Infrastruktur, die im Katastrophenfall binnen kürzester Zeit Tausende Menschen versorgen sollen.
