Doch die Ernte fällt u.a. durch günstige klimatische Bedingungen überraschend hoch aus. Welche Folgen hat das für Angebot und Preise? Auf welche Sorten setzen die Landwirte aktuell? Wie hat sich der Pro-Kopf-Verbrauch der Knolle über die Jahrzehnte entwickelt. Wir waren bei der Ernte in Reinholdshain bei Glauchau und Schönberg dabei, sind beim Sächsischen Kartoffelfest in Leipzig und bei der Verarbeitung der Kartoffeln zu Klößen, Kartoffelpuffer und Bratkartoffeln bei der Firma Friweika in Weidensdorf/Sachsen.
