Decine di manifestanti hanno occupato un edificio della Columbia University, a New York, barricando gli ingressi dell'Ateneo e srotolando una bandiera palestinese da una finestra. Nelle ultime settimane nei campus americani sono state organizzate decine di manifestazioni contro la guerra Israele-Hamas a Gaza. Nelle immagini diffuse sui social si vedono i manifestanti entrare nella Hamilton Hall mentre portano all'interno dell'edificio mobili e transenne di metallo.
