Veronika 2016 nyarán, egy kamion utasaként szenvedett súlyos közlekedési balesetet Németországban, amelynek következtében teljesen lebénult. Azóta állandó ápolásra szorul, lakását elvesztette, férjével elváltak, jelenleg egy önkormányzati lakásban él. A biztosító nem fogadta el a 2018. végén benyújtott kártérítési igényét, az emiatt indított per pedig jelenleg is tart, ezért Veronika és két lánya a legutóbbi időkig nem kapott kártérítést. A probléma általános, az ügyben megkérdezett Herpy Miklós közlekedési ügyvéd szerint a magyar jogszabályok hiányossága, hogy a biztosítók akár évekig elhúzhatják a hasonló ügyek rendezését. A biztosító ügyvédje viszont azzal érvel, hogy a cég sokáig nem volt tisztában a baleset pontos részleteivel, ezért nem lehetett biztos abban sem, hogy valóban fizetnie kell a családnak.Telex.hu – Csak tőled függ!
