Brand in Heidelberger Sofienstraße – 200.000 Euro Sachschaden
Am Sonntagnachmittag kam es in der Heidelberger Sofienstraße zu einem Brand in einem Ladengeschäft im Erdgeschoss eines mehrstöckigen Gebäudes.Die Feuerwehr war mit insgesamt 41 Einsatzkräften vor Ort und konnte das Feuer schnell unter Kontrolle bringen. Gegen 19:30 Uhr war der Brand vollständig gelöscht.
Verletzt wurde nach aktuellem Kenntnisstand niemand. Der entstandene Sachschaden wird derzeit auf rund 200.000 Euro geschätzt.
Für die Dauer der Löscharbeiten musste die Sofienstraße im Bereich der Querungen Plöck und Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage gesperrt werden.
Die Polizei Heidelberg-Mitte hat die weiteren Ermittlungen zur Brandursache übernommen.
