Setengah Abad Penantian, Warga Desa Gintung Kini Bisa Rasakan Jalan Layak Berkat Program TMMD
TANGERANG, KOMPAS.TV - Warga Desa Gintung, Tigaraksa, Kabupaten Tangerang kini dapat merasakan infrastruktur jalan yang layak berkat program TNI Manunggal Membangung Desa (TMMD) setelah sebelumnya harus menunggu perbaikan selama 50 tahun.Sebelumnya, jalan di desa ini dalam kondisi sangat memprihatinkan, penuh dengan lubang dan sering tergenang air saat hujan.
Hal ini mengakibatkan sulitnya akses bagi masyarakat untuk beraktivitas sehari-hari, termasuk menuju ke sekolah, pasar, dan pusat kesehatan.
Lewat program ini, berhasil membangun jalan sepanjang 5 kilometer yang menghubungkan Desa Gintung dengan desa-desa sekitarnya.
"Dulu, setiap kali hujan, jalanan berubah menjadi lumpur yang membuat kami kesulitan untuk keluar desa," kata Pak Eman man, warga Desa Gintung.
