Solo Flawless Grandmaster Alert Birthplace of the Vile (Hunter) [Destiny 2 Renegades]
Destiny 2 Renegades - Solo Flawless Grandmaster Alert Birthplace of the Vile on Hunter. Just a video showing a solo flawless clear of the new Alerts this expansion, this time Grandmaster Birthplace of the Vile on a Hunter. Details and thoughts below. The Inmost/Cyrtarachne being strong as always. It works well on this strike as there's lot of enemies to feed off, even if the single target falls behind a little bit during the boss fight. As there's no other boons to build into, the more generic builds work well to get it done.
This will also be the last video of 2026, and I just wanted to take a moment to say a big thank you once again to everyone for all of the support throughout the year, and a small reflection of the last year and plans going forward. There's many of you I've seen consistently over the years, which it's always great to see and very appreciated. There's also been lots of new faces too which I'm also very grateful for. I've always set out to be a no commentary, straight to the point, no clickbait channel from the beginning, and over time (and especially with the current YouTube landscape) that's becoming increasingly difficult to for growth and relevancy. The algorithm favours engagement and watch time more than anything, which isn't great for somebody who consistently tries to make the shortest possible content with the information you need at the beginning and not dragging it out. However, all of your continued support has helped keep the channel going despite that, and those are pillars that will remain on the channel indefinitely.
In terms of channel performance, it wasn't one of the best years due to how D2 has been handled in general, and I've done my best to steer clear of the constant negativity cycle and stick to doing my own thing. I've obviously had some complaints, and even posted some feedback videos where I normally would never, but I didn't want to feed off the negativity and I tried to give constructive criticism instead.
Regardless of that, there was still a slow but steady growth throughout the year. There was also quite a few variety games I missed this year due to scheduling or D2 releases at the time, but the ones I did cover earlier in the year I enjoyed a lot and performed surprisingly well. Lies of P DLC and Doom the Dark Ages were standouts, and Khazan I had a lot of fun with. While Nightreign didn't do too great on the channel, it's the game I've played the most outside of D2 this year and had the most fun with. I'll be posting an all nightlords no damage video shortly in the new year, assuming there's no Everdark Heolstor or Everdark Dreglord in the near future.
For my 2026 plans, I intended to play and cover a lot more variety throughout the year. There's many games I'm looking forward to, including Valor Mortis, Mortal Shell 2, The Duskbloods, Phantom Blade Zero, Witchfire 1.0 release, Lords of the Fallen 2, along with checking out the final Lords of the Fallen 2.5 update to see how the game is now. I'm assuming there will also be a new Doom DLC at some point, and if I can get some time to finally play Nioh 1 and 2 before Nioh 3 releases, I'll probably be covering that. There's a lot of different games I'm looking forward to this year, so hopefully they'll all be enjoyable.
I'll still cover D2 as always, and remain as consistent with that as I can be. With the current content model though, the first few months of 2026 will likely be a completely stagnant period for the game, until Shadow and Order releases for a brief period, and then waiting until The Shattered Cycle. If nothing else, there will be a least the GM alerts each week, and perhaps revisiting some old challenges. If Kill Shot isn't fixed on the 6th, I'll likely do the Solo Epic Koregos RNG grind, and Solo Flawless Vault of Glass finally.
Either way, the channel will keep going, and there's a lot to look forward to in 2026. So thanks again for all of the support, and we'll see what the new year brings.
