(LaPresse) Si è concluso alle ore 5.40 di questa mattina l'intervento del Corpo Nazionale Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico (Cnsas) nella Grotta dei Cinghiali Volanti, nel comune di Garessio (Cuneo), dove nel tardo pomeriggio di ieri uno speleologo era rimasto con un arto inferiore bloccato sotto un masso a circa 120 metri di profondità. Sul posto sono intervenuti complessivamente 54 tecnici del Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico provenienti da diverse regioni d'Italia, come ha riferito Luca Longo, del Cnsas. Una volta raggiunto l'infortunato, le prime squadre hanno concentrato gli sforzi sulla liberazione dell'arto rimasto incastrato sotto la roccia. Successivamente è stato allestito un piccolo campo sanitario all'interno della grotta per consentire al personale medico e sanitario del Cnsas di effettuare una valutazione approfondita delle condizioni dell'uomo. Accertato che il quadro clinico fosse complessivamente buono e che non fossero presenti condizioni tali da richiedere il trasporto in barella, è stata pianificata e avviata l'uscita assistita dalla cavità. La possibilità per il ferito di collaborare attivamente durante l'evacuazione ha consentito di rendere più rapide e agevoli le operazioni di recupero, che si sono comunque protratte per diverse ore a causa della complessità dell'ambiente e delle caratteristiche del percorso.
