The session kicked off with a heavy back, neck, and shoulder massage using a traditional wooden gua sha tool. The scraping technique was strong and dug right into the stiff knots, releasing a lot of built-up tension in the muscles. After the intense physical work, we shifted into the head spa, which brought in raw sensory elements like sound therapy, vibrating tools, and a warm hair steam.
The therapist washed my hair with rich shampoos, applied a soothing conditioner, and followed up with a firm hand and arm massage. The combination of the aggressive gua sha work and the gentle scalp treatment creates a heavy physical contrast that forces the brain to shut off for deep sleep. We even did a detailed scalp analysis before and after so I could physically see the clear detox results.
