6.500 Höhenmeter und das alles auf klapprigen Mopeds. Günter und Johannes nehmen die Herausforderung an. Aber: Beim Ötztaler Moped-Marathon läuft nie alles nach Plan. Keine leichte Sache für Mensch und Material: Keiner will im Besenwagen nach Hause!Jedes Jahr kommen hunderte Mofa-Maniacs ins Ötztal zum Moped-Marathon. Einige davon aus Deutschland. Das Rennen: 250 Kilometer und sensationelle Alpen-Pässe: das Timmelsjoch, das Penserjoch oder der Jaufenpass. Von Tirol geht es nach Italien und wieder zurück. Viel Zeit, die Aussicht zu genießen, haben die Fahrer aber nicht: die Maschinen müssen irgendwie durchhalten. Viele bleiben rechts und links am Pass liegen – Manuel und der Besenwagen sammeln die gestrandeten Piloten auf. Durchhalten ist alles. Das gilt vor allem für Vater und Sohn – Günter und Johannes aus dem Landkreis Rosenheim.
