Kesepakatan yang diusulkan itu menyusul negosiasi antara Hamas dan pejabat Mesir serta Qatar yang telah berlangsung di Kairo beberapa waktu kemarin.
Dilansir dari Tribunnews.com, Selasa (19/8/2025) kesepakatan itu meliputi penghentian kekerasan selama 60 hari.
Gencatan senjata itu bisa berpotensi untuk mencapai kesepakatan komprehensif.
Yakni, tujuannya untuk mengakhiri perang yang telah berlangsung hampir dua tahun.
Selain itu, pertukaran setengah dari sandera Israel yang masih hidup dengan tahanan Palestina.
Sebagai informasi, pembicaraan terus berlanjut di Mesir yang melibatkan sejumlah pihak.
Mereka di antaranya, Perdana Menteri Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, kepala dinas intelijen umum Mesir.
Kemudian, perwakilan faksi Palestina di Gaza, yang berada di bawah tekanan untuk mencapai kesepakatan.
Menurut para mediator Arab, secara realistis putaran perundingan terakhir telah berhasil mengatasi keberatan Israel sebelumnya.
Diketahui, Israel Israel tak lagi tertarik pada kesepakatan parsial.
Israel menekankan hanya akan setuju untuk mengakhiri perang jika Hamas membebaskan semua sandera, melucuti senjata, dan memungkinkan demiliterisasi Gaza.
