These are the 10 Photoshop tips I wish someone had shown me sooner, all in Photoshop 2026. Some are new, some are old, and a few will save you generative credits.

THE TIPS
1. The Remove tool doesn't spend generative credits, even with generative AI on
2. Scrubby sliders: drag on any label, hold Shift for steps of 10
3. Clip an adjustment layer to one layer, double-click a slider to reset it
4. Drag on the photo with the Targeted Adjustment Tool in Curves and Hue/Saturation
5. Bird's-Eye View: hold H to fly around a zoomed-in image, plus a Content-Aware crop fill with no credits
6. Cloud processing for Select Subject for cleaner edges
7. Apply Image and Stamp Visible: everything merged to one layer, non-destructively
8. Blend If for a realistic sky composite, with feathered sliders
9. Solo a layer with Alt/Option, and Quick Compare in the Photoshop beta
10. Camera Raw Lens Blur as a smart filter: uses AI, no credits
