Tak Seperti Sri Mulyani, Menkeu Purbaya Tolak Tax Amnesty: Insentif Orang Kibul-kibul

Padahal kebijakan tax amnesty ini sempat diberikan Menteri Keuangan sebelumnya, Sri Mulyani.
Purbaya menilai, insentif justru diberikan kepada pengemplang pajak melalui kebijakan tax amnesty.
Hal itu disampaikan Purbaya saat ditemui di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan pada Jumat (19/9) malam.
Purbaya mengatakan jika kebijakan itu diberlakukan, maka jeda waktu tax amnesty baru dua tahun.
Dengan begitu, Purbaya menyebut akan memberi insentif untuk orang kibul-kibul.
"Saya nggak tahu saya bisa nolak apa nggak, nanti saya lihat perkembangannya seperti apa. Cuman begini, kalau dua tahun ada tax amnesty, itu akan memberi insentif kepada orang-orang untuk kibul-kibul," kata Purbaya
Kemudian, Purbaya mengatakan para pengemplang pajak justru hanya akan memanfaatkan tax amnesty, alih-alih berubah menjadi wajib pajak yang taat.
Mereka bakal berpikir tidak perlu taat membayar pajak tepat waktu, lantaran pemerintah bakal memberikan tax amnesty setiap dua tahun seklai.
Meski begitu, Purbaya mengaku akan mempelajari terlebih dahulu proposal tax amensty yang diusulkan.
Walaupun Purbaya berpikir kebijakan itu sejatinya tidak terlalu pas untuk perekonomian.
Lantas, ia beranggapan pemerintah lebih baik menjalankan program-program harmonisasi sistem perpajakan secara benar, alih-alih memberi pengampunan pajak.
