SOLO, KOMPAS.TV - Presiden ke-7 RI, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyambut baik rencana Wakil Presiden (Wapres) Gibran Rakabuming ditugaskan ke Papua.
"Baik sekali, di wilayah di manapun sepanjang di wilayah Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia sangat baik, di manapun. Karena Papua adalah masa depan Indonesia," ujar Jokowi ditemui di kediamannya di Solo, pada Senin (14/7/2025).
Jokowi mengatakan bahwa penugasan dari Presiden Prabowo Subianto harus dipatuhi dan dijalankan dengan baik.
"Wong namanya penugasan dari presiden di manapun memang harus siap," tegasnya.
