Storm Shadows: Britischer Premier übergibt Konstruktionspläne an Ukraine
Pünktlich zum Unabhängigkeitstag der Ukraine hat die EU weitere 6,1 Milliarden Euro aus ihrem 90-Milliarden-Euro-Kredit für das Land freigeben. Das Geld sei für Luftabwehrsysteme, Lenkwaffen, Munition und Radarsysteme bestimmt. Großbritanniens Premier Andy Burnham hatte beim Antrittsbesuch in Kyjiw ein weiteres brisantes Geschenk im Gepäck: Die Konstruktionspläne für Marschflugköper vom Typ Storm Shadow. Diese können bis zu 500 Kilometer weit fliegen und Gefechtsköpfe bis zu 450 kg tragen. Damit kann die Ukraine auch unterirdische Bunkeranlagen im russischen Hinterland vernichten. Moskau verurteilte den Schritt. Großbritannien gieße damit Öl ins Feuer und schmiede systematisch und regelmäßig Intrigen, um selbst den geringsten Fortschritt im Friedensprozess zu verhindern, hieß es von Kreml-Sprecher Dmitri Peskow.Kapitel:
