Keluarga Minta Jenazah Afif Maulana Diautopsi Ulang, Kapolda Sumbar: Silahkan Saja

Saat dihubungi pada Kamis (4/7/2024), Suharyono menjelaskan bahwa jenazah Afif sejatinya sudah diautopsi.
Menurut Suharyono, jenazah Afif diautopsi pertama kali oleh dokter ahli forensik dari RSUD Dr Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi bernama dokter Rosmawati.
Untuk itu ia pun terbuka jika ada usulan soal permintaan autopsi ulang jenazah Afif oleh dokter forensik dari luar unsur Polri.
Dikatakan oleh Suharyono bahwa dokter Rosmawati merupakan lulusan Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) yang sudah menjadi dokter ahli forensik selama puluhan tahun.
Sebelumnya Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo pada Rabu (3/7/2024) telah memerintahkan autopsi ulang terhadap jasad Afif Maulana.
Menurut Sigit, proses autopsi ini akan melibatkan pihak luar sehingga transparan.
Selain perintah autopsi ulang, Sigit ikut menerjunkan tim Mabes Polri yang terdiri dari Bareskrim, Itwasum, dan Propam untuk turun tangan.
Keluarga Afif sendiri sudah meminta bantuan Komnas HAM terkait proses ekshumasi dan autopsi ulang.
Proses ini dilakukan untuk memastikan penyebab kematian Afif yang disebut polisi melompat dari jembatan.
Adapun Polda Sumbar sudah menyampaikan bahwa Afif mengalami patah pada enam ruas tulang iganya hingga merobek paru-paru.
