Dal 26 al 28 settembre 2025 Firenze vive una trasformazione inaspettata: in piazza Santa Croce è sbocciato un verde giardino urbano. Un morbido manto erboso di oltre 3.000 metri quadrati e imponenti olivi secolari ridisegneranno lo spazio davanti alla basilica, regalando ai visitatori l'esperienza unica di passeggiare avvolti nella natura… nel cuore della città.
Si chiama Green Florence 2025 ed è la più grande installazione urbana di verde naturale mai realizzata in Europa. L'iniziativa, promossa da Confcommercio e Unione degli Agricoltori di Firenze con il patrocinio del Comune e della Camera di Commercio, nasce con l'obiettivo di intrecciare ambiente, commercio, agricoltura e cultura, mostrando come la bellezza storica di Firenze possa dialogare con la natura senza perdere la propria identità, favorendo la scoperta di nuove forme di vivere la città in chiave sostenibile.
