Kapolda Sumatera Barat, Irjen Pol Suharyono menyebut CCTV Polsek Kuranji tidak rusak melainkan terhapus.
Berdasarkan keterangan tim IT Polda, CCTV di Polsek Kuranji hanya punya ruang penyimpanan 1 terabyte (TB).
Dengan kapasitas sebesar itu, mereka hanya bisa melacak peristiwa 11 hari sebelumnya.
Oleh sebab itu, saat dilakukan pengamanan terhadap 19 terduga pelaku tawuran di Polsek pada 9 Juni 2024, tidak terlacak lagi rekaman CCTV-nya.
"Jadi CCTV tidak rusak. Ada CCTV, tetapi daya tampung untuk menyimpan atau DVR hanya 11 hari," ujar Suharyono saat konferensi pers Minggu (30/6/2024), dilansir TribunPadang.com.
Suharyono mengklaim punya dokumentasi pengamanan tersebut.
Ia memperlihatkan foto-foto terduga pelaku tawuran setelah dilakukan pengamanan di Kapolsek Kuranji.
Suharyono, menegaskan tak ada Afif Maulana di antara belasan terduga pelaku yang diamankan di Polsek Kuranji.
Menurutnya, sejumlah foto itu adalah dokumentasi dari personel kepolisian yang bertugas pada malam itu.
Ia juga menyampaikan, foto-foto itu telah ditunjukkan saat pertemuan dengan Kompolnas, KPAI, Kementerian PPA, Komnas HAM, Ombudsman, LBH Padang, hingga pihak keluarga pada beberapa waktu yang lalu.
Adapun Afif adalah seorang pelajar berusia 13 tahun yang ditemukan meninggal di Sungai Kuranji, dekat jembatan Jalan Bypass, Padang, Sumatera Barat, Minggu (9/6/2024) pukul 11.55 WIB.
Saat ditemukan, jenazah Afif mengapung di sungai dengan luka lebam pada bagian punggung dan perutnya.
Ada dugaan dia tewas setelah dianiaya polisi.(*)
