Woman tells Senate Flock camera influenced wrongful arrest, led to 86 hours in solitary confinement

The Senate Crime and Counterterrorism Subcommittee heard from holds a hearing titled, "Always Watching: Flock's Nationwide AI Surveillance Network."

At the hearing, Lindsey Isaacs testified about a case where she said Flock cameras influenced a wrongful arrest of her tied to a deadly hit-and-run case in Florida. She said she spent 13 days in jail due to the arrest, including 86 hours in solitary confinement.

"The state ultimately declined to prosecute me and filed in no information and information
was never filed against me. The investigation instead resulted in charges against another individual," Isaacs said. "I came here today because I want you to understand that surveillance technology does not exist in a vacuum.
