Netanyahu Rules out Ceasefire against Hamas as Biden Proposes Gaza Peace Plan | Firstpost AmericaOver the weekend, US President Joe Biden proposed a three-phase ceasefire plan between Israel and Hamas. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has tentatively accepted the proposal but also called it a “not so good plan”. Meanwhile, Netanyahu said that there would be no ceasefire in Gaza until Hamas was defeated militarily. Ministers in the Israeli government have also threatened to quit and withdraw their support to Netanyahu if he accepts the plan. On the other hand, Hamas has said that they will accept Biden’s ceasefire proposal if Israel accepts it first. Meanwhile, thousands of Israelis rallied as they urged Netanyahu to accept Biden’s proposal to secure the release of hostages.
