Dai due chili di carico del 2016 agli 80 di oggi: i droni si avvicinano a un possibile impiego operativo nella lotta alle zanzare. A Piverone, sul Lago di Viverone, IPLA ha sperimentato due mezzi, uno per mappare l’area e l’altro per distribuire il larvicida biologico. L’obiettivo è arrivare a un unico drone capace di individuare i focolai e trattarli, anche sotto la vegetazione. Il prossimo anno si valutano nuove prove a Viveron e a Fondo Toce.
