Almost everyone has something they want to say, and a quiet voice that says: not yet. Maybe later. Maybe when I'm ready.

Do you have something you've always wanted to share, but a voice says: not yet. I'm not ready to be seen.

I know that voice. I had things to say, but I didn't know how to put myself out there, and the criticism scared me.

So I found a crutch. I made a video about visiting Steve Jobs' house, and I opened it talking to my four-year-old son: "hey Hayden, look where I am." That way, if anyone tore it apart, I could tell myself it was just a video for my son.

Six people commented.

Then I read about an injustice I couldn't stay quiet about, and I made that video because it mattered more than my fear. It reached millions of views, and something in me broke open. I was finally doing it for something bigger than myself.

That's when I understood I'd been carrying a visibility wound. A lot of us have one. It holds you back from showing up at work, from pitching your ideas, from asking someone out.

This June 26 to 28, I want to help you put it down. Our free Speaking & Influence Summit. Three days, live on Zoom. Save your spot: https://go.mindvalley.com/Q2Vc02Z6
