GOWA, KOMPAS.TV - Warga di sekitar Kampus UIN Alauddin Makassar, Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan, geger dengan temuan ular piton sepanjang 5 meter yang sedang memangsa seekor kucing.Saat evakuasi ular, tim damkar sempat mengalami kesulitan mencari ular yang sembunyi di semak-semak, apalagi proses evakuasi dilakukan pada malam hari.
Namun setelah berupaya selama satu jam, ular berhasil ditangkap petugas damkar.
Ular piton yang berhasil ditangkap rencananya akan diserahkan ke Balai Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam Sulawesi Selatan.
