The power of surrender in leadership | Dr. Jessica Kriegel | TEDxSouthlake
Leaders are taught to control outcomes, manage people, and force change—but control is an illusion. Drawing from two decades of executive leadership, culture transformation research with Stanford Graduate School of Business, and real-world case studies, this talk reframes leadership as an act of surrender. Not surrender as weakness, but as intentional acceptance of reality.By letting go of resistance and focusing on the experiences leaders create, organizations build trust, adaptability, and sustained performance. This talk by Dr. Kriegel challenges leaders to move from force to flow—and shows why adaptability is the strongest predictor of long-term success.
