Ia adalah RH (18), yang merupakan warga asa Desa Wundubite, sama dengan korban.
RH sehari-hari bekerja sebagai seorang petani.
Menurut dugaan pihak kepolisian, motif pelaku melakukan aksi pembunuhan ini lantaran sakit hati karena sering diejek oleh korban.
Ada pun diketahui sebelumnya, kasus pembunuhan ini terjadi saat korban dengan adiknya (7) sedang dalam perjalanan untuk mengaji ke sekolah, sekira pukul 06.30 WIB.
Namun tiba-tiba ia dihadang oleh seorang pria di jalanan Desa Wundubite, Kecamatan Poli-Polia, Koltim, pada Jumat (5/9).
Menurut laporan wartawan Tribunnews Sultra, korban sempat berlari ke arah hutan ketika dihadang oleh pelaku.
Namun nahas, ia berhasil ditangkap, dan pelaku langsung menggorok leher korban.
Sementara itu sang adik dari MA yang disebut langsung melarikan diri ke arah sekolah untuk meminta pertolongan.
Sementara itu, usai berita pembunuhan tragis viral di media sosial, rumah dari pelaku dilaporkan dibakar massa pada Jumat (5/9).
Berdasarkan narasi video, rumah
berdinding papan dan beratap jerami itu dinarasikan sebagai kediaman pelaku.
Terlihat tiga orang remaja dalam video berusaha untuk membangkitkan api dengan melempar sejumlah barang semacam kardus dan kursi kayu kecil.
