MAKKAH, KOMPAS.TV - Ketua Tim Pengawas Haji (Timwas) DPR RI Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal menyampaikan keprihatinannya atas laporan keterlambatan penerbangan yang dialami oleh jemaah haji Indonesia saat proses kepulangan dari Arab Saudi ke tanah air.

"Kepulangan ini di tahap awal sudah ada masalah, ada keterlambatan dari Saudi Arabian Airlines. Kemungkinan maskapai Garuda juga nanti akan mengalami hal yang sama," ungkap Cucun saat ditemui di Makkah, Arab Saudi, Kamis (12/6/2025).

Cucun menyesalkan adanya jemaah haji yang harus menunggu hingga enam jam di bandara tanpa pendampingan dan perhatian dari Petugas Penyelenggara Ibadah Haji (PPIH).

Ia menekankan pentingnya skenario darurat yang harus disiapkan oleh Panitia Penyelenggara Ibadah Haji Daerah Kerja (Daker) Jeddah untuk mengantisipasi situasi serupa ke depan.
