PADANG, KOMPAS.TV - Sebuah rumah yang dijadikan studio foto di Padang, Sumatera Barat, terbakar. Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa kebakaran, namun kerugian material ditaksir mencapai ratusan juta rupiah.Asap hitam pekat membumbung dari salah satu rumah warga di kawasan padat penduduk, Ulak Karang, Padang.
Kebakaran sempat membuat warga panik. Mereka berusaha memadamkan api dengan alat seadanya.
Api baru berhasil dipadamkan satu jam setelah tim pemadam tiba di lokasi, dengan menerjunkan enam unit mobil pemadam. Penyebab pasti kebakaran hingga kini masih diselidiki.
