Ponpes Buduran Ambruk: Ahli ITS Jelaskan Gagal Struktur, Cak Imin Minta Jangan Bangun Tanpa Ahli
KOMPAS.TV - Tim SAR gabungan pastikan penyebab ambruknya Pondok Pesantren Buduran, Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, akibat kegagalan konstruksi.Bangunan ponpes tidak mampu menahan beban secara keseluruhan dan menyebabkan ambruknya bangunan tersebut.
Sebelum ambruk, Ponpes Buduran sedang dalam pembangunan.
Ahli struktur bangunan ITS Surabaya, Mudji Irmawan, menyebut pembangunan yang dilakukan secara bertahap harus memperhatikan struktur bangunan lama dan baru.
Sementara itu, dalam kunjungannya ke Ponpes Buduran, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Muhaimin Iskandar, meminta kepada setiap pondok pesantren di seluruh Indonesia untuk tidak membangun tanpa adanya kalkulasi teknis dalam perencanaan maupun dalam proses pembangunan.
Cak Imin mengatakan kepada seluruh pondok pesantren untuk tidak membangun tanpa pengawasan dan bimbingan ahli teknik bangunan.
Kejadian ambruknya Ponpes Buduran menjadi pelajaran mahal akan pentingnya keselamatan bangunan. Bukan hanya kerugian materiil, tetapi juga hilangnya nyawa tak berdosa.
