Marcel Röthig von der Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung im Südkaukasus warnt allerdings: Es handele sich nur um eine Absichtsbekundung, die völkerrechtlich nicht bindend sei. Die Umsetzung bis zum Frieden zwischen den Nationen werde Jahrzehnte dauern. Allerdings seien junge Menschen sehr neugierig aufeinander - das mache Hoffnung, dass die beiden Länder wieder zueinander finden.
