LIVE: Iran Regime Warns Protesters As US-Israel Strikes Intensify | War Update

Iran has warned citizens against taking to the streets as the war with the United States and Israel intensifies. Tehran says its security forces have their “fingers on the trigger” to confront any attempt to revive anti-government protests. The warning comes as the conflict enters its 12th day, following what Washington described as the most intense day of U.S. airstrikes on Iran. Pro-Iran groups across the region launched fresh attacks on targets in Israel, Lebanon and the Gulf, raising fears of a wider regional war. The warning also comes months after massive anti-government protests swept across Iran in late 2025. Human rights groups say thousands were killed and tens of thousands arrested during the crackdown. The United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran on February 28 over concerns about Tehran’s nuclear programme. Iran responded with attacks on Israel and U.S. bases in the Gulf, triggering the current conflict.
