INDRAMAYU, KOMPAS.TV - Bupati Indramayu, Lucky Hakim, menebar ular tidak berbisa, biawak, dan burung hantu di sawah milik petani. Langkah ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi hama tikus yang merajalela.
Penebaran dilakukan di Desa Limbangan, Kecamatan Juntinyuat, Minggu (17/08/2025) sore. Sebanyak 200 ekor ular, 20 biawak, dan 10 burung hantu dilepaskan untuk mengembalikan keseimbangan ekosistem sawah.
Hama tikus diketahui telah menyerang tanaman padi milik petani dalam beberapa waktu terakhir. Kehadiran hewan-hewan predator alami ini diharapkan membantu petani mengendalikan populasi tikus.
