Lebih dari itu, Dewi menilai Paus Fransiskus sebagai tokoh yang membawa kemajuan dunia.
Hal itu disampaikan Dewi saat sesi wawancara eksklusif dengan Host Tribun Network, Geok Mengwan di Studio Tribunnews, Palmerah, Jakarta, Selasa (11/6/2024) malam.
Bagi Dewi, kedatangan Paus Fransiskus sangat dinantikan.
Menurutnya, Paus Fransiskus dapat menjadi cerminan umat manusia tanpa perlu melihat agamanya.
“Tapi kita lihat bagaimana sosoknya, pemikiran-pemikirannya kemajuan dunia ini. Banyak yang bisa dipelajari ya, karena at the end, semua agama itu mengajarkan untuk kasih sayang kepada manusia,” kata aktivis Gusdurian ini.
Dirinya berahap dengan adanya kunjungan Paus Fransiskus tentu semakin membuka cakrawala pemikiran bahwa agama itu jalan manusia menyembah dan menghamba Tuhan.
Bukan hanya kepada Tuhan saja tapi sesama ciptaan Tuhan umat manusia tetap harus saling berhubungan.
Dewi Praswida gadis kelahiran Semarang, Jawa Tengah ini pernah bersalaman langsung dengan Paus Fransiskus saat masih menjalankan program beasiswanya.
Dia satu di antara pemudi di dunia yang berkesempatan bertemu dengan Paus Fransiskus dan kini menjadi perbincangan di media sosial.
