Aparat kepolisian terpaksa menghalau massa demonstran yang masih bertahan dengan menembakkan gas air mata.
Sekitar pukul 18.30 WIB, petugas mulai bergerak maju secara bersamaan untuk membubarkan kerumunan yang memadati kawasan depan DPR.
Kepulan gas air mata membuat para pengunjuk rasa kocar-kacir dan mundur ke arah Jalan Gerbang Pemuda.
Sejumlah peserta aksi bahkan bergegas mengevakuasi sepeda motor mereka yang sebelumnya diparkir di badan Jalan Gatot Subroto, persis di depan kompleks parlemen.
Namun, sebagian demonstran tetap bertahan di lokasi dan berusaha menahan dorongan barikade aparat. Suasana makin panas saat kembang api dinyalakan dari barisan belakang massa, bahkan lemparan bom molotov sempat diarahkan ke posisi polisi.(*)
