In this video, I discuss whether Bitcoin miners (mining pools) control Bitcoin and its consensus rules. I conclude that they do not, and that Bitcoin node runners are the soul of the network, and have the ability to bring Bitcoin mining pools back into line by threatening to orphan blocks.
