BEKASI, KOMPAS.TV - Seorang tahanan ditemukan tewas di Lapas Kelas 2 A Bulak Kapal, Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Isak tangis mewarnai kedatangan jenazah Zainal Arifin Nasution seorang tahanan yang ditemukan tewas di dalam lapas.
Sebelum ditemukan tewas korban sempat meminta kiriman uang kepada keluarga. Kasus tewasnya tahanan ini terjadi pada tanggal 19 Mei 2024 lalu.
Keluarga sempat menolak otops dan langsung membawa jenazah korban ke rumah duka di Tapanuli Tengah, Sumatera Utara.
Merasa janggal, keluarga akhirnya melapor ke polisi karena ditemukan luka lebam pada tubuh korban. Keluarga menduga korban meninggal karena dianiaya, polisi berencana memeriksa petugas lapas.
