Tschaikowskys »Fünfte«, seine »Schicksals-Sinfonie«, trifft auf ein hochvirtuoses Konzert von Giovanni Bottesini, dem »Paganini des Kontrabasses«. Interpretiert wird es von unserem Solo-Bassisten Bogusław Furtok, einem echten Experten für die Griffbrettakrobatik Bottesinis. Am Pult steht der preisgekrönte junge amerikanische Dirigent Roderick Cox, der für seine energiegeladenen Interpretationen bekannt ist.

Tchaikovsky's »Fifth«, his »Fate Symphony«, meets a highly virtuoso concerto by Giovanni Bottesini, the »Paganini of the double bass«. It is interpreted by our solo bassist Bogusław Furtok, a true expert in Bottesini's fingerboard acrobatics. Taking to the podium is Roderick Cox, the award-winning young American conductor known for his energetic interpretations.
