Emine kaçmak ister ama dağlara tek başına gidemez ve kimse Emine'yi kaçırmaya cesaret edemez. Emine Salako ile kaçmayı tercih eder ve Salako Emine'ye aşıktır ve onunla beraber dağlara kaçarlar. Emine ise Salako'yu her gün oyalar ve sonunda eski sevgilisi Hamido'ya kavuşur ama Hamido Emine'yi reddeder ve babasına yollamak ister. Emine tekrar Salako ile dağlara kaçar. Salako ise Hamido'yu öldürür ve kasabanın eşkıyası olur.
