Israel kekurangan perwira dan prajurit tempur karena puluhan ribu tentaranya menjadi korban perang.
Diketahui terdapat lebih dari 20 ribu perwira dan prajurit mengalami cedera dalam perang tersebut.
Para pejabat Israel mencatat bahwa jumlah tersebut diprediksi bakal terus meningkat dengan hampir 1.000 kasus baru diajukan setiap bulan.
Data tersebut diperoleh dari Divisi Rehabilitasi Kementerian Pertahanan Pendudukan Israel.
Divisi tersebut juga mencatat bahwa ada sekitar 31 ribu prajurit yang sedang menjalani perawatan medis lanjutan untuk kondisi kesehatan mental akibat perang.
Dilansir dari RNTV melalui Tribunnews pada Senin (15/9), IDF memperkirakan pasukannya kekurangan sekitar 7.500 prajurit dan 2.500 personel pendukung tempur.
Sementara itu untuk posisi komandan pleton pasukan darurat, IDF kekurangan sekitar 300 perwira.
Menurut IDF kondisi itu merupakan kekurangan dramatis yang diperburuk oleh agresi berkepanjangan di Gaza. (Tribun-Video.com/Tribunnews.com)
