DEUTSCHLAND: Karriereende beim DFB - Rudi Völler kündigt Rückzug für Ende 2028 an
Rudi Völler wird seinen Vertrag als DFB-Sportdirektor nach der Europameisterschaft 2028 nicht verlängern. Der 65-Jährige erklärte gegenüber dem Stern, sich danach in den Ruhestand zurückzuziehen. Seit 2023 leitet Völler die sportlichen Geschicke beim DFB, nachdem er bereits von 2000 bis 2004 als Bundestrainer tätig war. Seinen größten Triumph feierte der ehemalige Weltklasse-Stürmer 1990 mit dem Gewinn des WM-Titels.
