Incendio in una cascina alle porte di Piacenza: due persone intossicate. È scattato alle 8 del mattino della Vigilia di Natale il protocollo di maxi emergenza per un incendio divampato in una cascina lungo la Strada per Cortemaggiore, in località Croce Grossa, alle porte di Piacenza.Le fiamme si sono sprigionate da un quadro elettrico e si sono presto propagate all’interno dei locali e un denso fumo nero ha invaso e annerito completamente l’interno dell’edificio, dove si trovavano una quindicina di lavoratori stranieri. La struttura dal 2021, non è più un centro di accoglienza per richiedenti asilo convenzionato con la Prefettura. Tutte le persone presenti sono state evacuate e visitate sul posto dal personale medico e infermieristico. Attraverso uno speciale saturimetro in grado di rilevare la presenza di monossido di carbonio nel sangue - in dotazione all’équipe medica dell’elisoccorso di Areu - due individui sono risultati intossicati ed è stato disposto il loro trasferimento in ambulanza all’ospedale di Fidenza, dove sono stati sottoposti a ossigenoterapia in camera iperbarica.
