Il tiro al piccione ormai è evidente, è quello all’Europa. L’industria dell’auto frena? È colpa dell’Europa. Si bada troppo all’ambiente? È colpa dell’Europa. Tump mette i dazi? È colpa dell’Europa. Putin continua a bombardare l’Ucraina tutti i giorni? È colpa dell’Europa o l’Europa non fa nient,e decidete voi. Ma chi sarà mai questa Europa? La tedesca Ursula Von der Leyen, presidente della Commissione europea, il presidente del consiglio d’Europa, vale a dire i capi di governo dei 27 Stati membri, e cioè il portoghese Antonio Costa, o la francese Christin Lagarde, presidente della Bce, o Roberta Metsola, presidente del Parlamento europeo?La verità è che l’Europa sono tutti loro più i capi di governo dei 27 Paesi membri. Spesso loro stessi amano prendersela con l’Europa che non è un dato di fatto, ma un processo che dura dagli anni Cinquanta e che pian piano sta crescendo. Dobbiamo all’Europa i 25 miliardi che durante il Copvid hanno tenuto in piedi chi aveva perso il lavoro, e sempre all’Europa i vaccini che hanno permesso di sconfiggere il Covid e i 200 miliardi del Pnrr che stanno impedendo al nostro Paese di andare in recessione. Ma, gli italiani, e non solo soli hanno la memoria corta. Anche perché a tanti conviene un'Europa debole, un'Europa sotto accusa.I tanti che in America non hanno mai digerito un'Europa forte. Per non parlare di una Russia che, ripeto bombarda tutti i giorni l’Ucraina. A chi dice che l’Europa non stia facendo niente per l’Ucraina, andrebbe ricordato che da gennaio con l'arrivo di Trump gli aiuti americani sono a zero, quelli europei oltre i 50 miliardi. Ma l’elenco potrebbe durare a lungo. Sull’auto è dal 2016 che l’Europa avverte l’industria dell’auto che i cinesi stavano puntando pesantemente sull’elettrico.
