Gubernur Pramono Anung Bicara soal Skema Pembongkaran 90 Tiang Monorel yang Mangkrak
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Gubernur DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung berencana akan membongkar tiang proyek monorel mangkrak di Jalan Rasuna Said, Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan.Pramono menyebut kewenangan untuk membongkar tiang monorel itu merupakan milik PT Adhi Karya.
Namun apabila PT Adhi Karya tak mampu untuk melakukan pembongkaran, maka Pemprov DKI Jakarta akan mengambil alih.
90 tiang monorel ini telah mangkrak belasan tahun dan dinilai mengganggu tata kota Jakarta.
Lahan bekas tiang monorel nantinya bisa dimanfaatkan untuk memperluas ruas jalan maupun pembuatan taman vertikal.
Pembangunan monorel di Ibu Kota dicanangkan Gubernur DKI Jakarta, Sutiyoso pada 2002.
Pada 2004, konstruksi mulai dikerjakan. Namun pada 2008, PT Jakarta Monorail mengaku tidak dapat memenuhi syarat investasi senilai 144 juta dolar Amerika. Proyek ini pun resmi dihentikan pada 2011.
