How to Increase Draw Weight Without Ruining Your Form

Increasing your draw weight doesn’t have to mean sacrificing your technique. One of the biggest mistakes I see archers make is jumping several pounds at once because they think that’s the only way to get stronger. In reality, most ILF bows allow you to make small draw weight adjustments using the tiller bolts, making it possible to gradually build strength while maintaining good form.

In this video, I’ll show you exactly how I increase draw weight safely by using the adjustment built into the bow before buying heavier limbs. I’ll also explain why I recommend small, gradual changes instead of big jumps.
