Lift yang mereka naiki terjatuh pada hari itu tepatnya pukul 16.30 WIB.
Selain tewasnya tujuh pekerja, dua pekerja lain juga dilaporkan mengalami luka berat.
Kejadian itu berawal saat sembilan pekerja turun dari lantai 5 gedung sekolah ke lantai 1 menggunakan lift pengangkut barang.
Saat sedang turun, diduga lift tersebut kelebihan muatan dan mengakibatkan kecelakaan.
Sementara, pihak sekolah Az Zahra ternyata tidak segera melaporkan kejadian itu ke polisi.
Padahal, jarak sekolah dengan mapolres hanya sekitar 100 meter.
Sekolah langsung membawa semua korban ke rumah sakit untuk mendapatkan perawatan. (Tribun-Video.com)
