E' arrivato a Radio Radio dopo essere passato per la RAI, dove ha deliziato il Paese con le sue telecronache delle vittorie mondiali di Alberto Tomba. A Radio Radio ha trovato la sua seconda casa, dove ha vissuto per quasi trent'anni, da opinionista e anche da direttore responsabile. Con Furio il rapporto andava oltre il lavoro. La sua grande passione per lo sport, calcio e sci in particolare, era nota a tutti: la incarnava nello spirito, nella voce e nel fisico. Neanche col passare degli anni aveva mai pensato di fermarsi. Con Furio abbiamo fatto l'ultima discesa con gli sci in Alta Badia solo qualche anno fa. Andava a Pozzaglia, il suo paese natale, in bicicletta. Improvvisamente, una malattia degenerativa, la SLA, lo ha fermato fino a portarcelo via in pochi mesi. Chiedendo ai medici, dicono che certe cose dovrebbero durare anni. Anche in questo caso, come da metodo scientifico, quello di Galileo, non possiamo non porci degli interrogativi su quanto osserviamo.
